
Alternate Director
With a degree in Social Anthropology from the Universidad de Chile and a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico, she works as a researcher and professor in two areas of specialization: the anthropology of contemporary artistic processes and the study of cultural practices in Latin America.
She has served as head researcher for various anthropology and sociology research projects; given lectures at both national and international conferences; and has written various specialized publications on topics such as creative work, museums and heritage, cultural audiences, artistic education and cultural policy. She has been a consultant for the UNESCO regional office of education in Santiago, Chile, and for the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage. She is an associate professor at the Universidad de Chile.
