Daniela Fugellie published an article in a German academic book

Daniela Fugellie was one of the authors who contributed to the book Akademisierung der Künste: Situierung, Episteme, Kodifizierung (Academization of the Arts: Situation, Episteme, Codification). Her chapter is titled "Studying, Performing and Researching Music in Chilean Universities: Challenges and Perspectives after a Century."
CMUS's principal investigator wrote in the introduction: "The study of musical performance was officially incorporated into Chilean universities in 1929, when a reform of the National Conservatory led to its integration into the Universidad de Chile. Since then, almost all new institutions dedicated to music teaching and research have been created within universities, reproducing this initial model without questioning its strengths or weaknesses. In line with this development, the model of an independent conservatory offering a university degree in music—such as the German Musikhochschule—does not exist in Chile."
