Its first public screening took place last Friday, December 8, "Himno." A documentary about "El pueblo unido jamás será vencido," as part of the 19th edition of the IN-EDIT CHILE Film and Documentary Festival. The film, directed by Martín Farías and produced by Eileen Karmy (CMUS researcher), traces the global impact of the song "El pueblo unido jamás será vencido," composed in 1973 by Sergio Ortega and the group Quilapayún. The documentary —awarded an honorable mention by the Festival jury— will continue screening throughout the summer and will reach commercial theaters in April.
