On Tuesday, November 28, the International Conference on Cultural Policy and Cultural Democracy: A Global Dialogue was inaugurated at GAM. The welcome event was attended by the Minister of Cultures, Carolina Arredondo, and Felipe Mella, director of GAM, among others, together with keynote speakers Steven Hadley and CMUS alternate director Carla Pinochet Cobos.

The event ran from November 28 to 30 with a range of talks; we've left the link to the event recording. This gathering sought to discuss the current and future challenges of research in cultural policy, "Cultural Policy and Cultural Democracy," which was held for the first time outside Europe with the aim of building a network of international cooperation.
