Between July 13 and 15, the IV LASA Southern Cone Symposium 2026, New Ideological, Socioeconomic, and Cultural Turns – Political Challenges and Emancipatory Approaches from the Southern Cone, will be held at Diego Portales University. At this event, Francisco Farías, a graduate student at CMUS, will present the paper "The Experience of the Alerce Label During the Years of Transition to Democracy (1985-1995)." Farías points out: "It consists of a presentation where the general guidelines of the speaker's master's thesis project will be presented, focused on the experience of the Alerce label between the years 1985 and 1995."
