Núcleo Milenio has added 9 new members to its team to serve as associate researchers. They are Valeska Cabrera, Francisco Parada, Christian Yáñez, Luz Moreno, Pedro Güell, and Daniella Jofré. In addition, Sebastián Muñoz, Javier Rodríguez, and Javier Silva-Zurita, who had already been part of CMUS in the previous cycle.

Valeska Cabrera holds a PhD in Musicology from the University of Salamanca, Spain, and a Master's in Music with a specialization in choral conducting from the University of Toronto, Canada, and is currently an associate professor in the Department of Music at the Universidad de La Serena; Christian Yáñez holds a PhD in Human Sciences (Universidad Austral de Chile) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Communication and Culture at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC); Francisco Javier Parada holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience, is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Psychology and the Faculty of Architecture, Arts and Design at UDP, and is Director of the Center for Studies in Human Neuroscience and Neuropsychology (CENHN); and Pedro Güell is a sociologist from the Universidad de Chile with a PhD in Sociology (University of Erlangen-Nuremberg), and is currently an associate professor at Universidad Austral de Chile.

There is also Daniella Jofré Poblete, an archaeologist from the Universidad de Chile, who holds a Master's in Anthropology from Trent University (Canada) and a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Toronto. She currently serves as the representative of the Department of Anthropology to the Faculty's Undergraduate School at the Universidad de Chile. Finally, Luz Moreno holds a Bachelor's degree in Music-Piano with honorable mention from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and a Master's in Latin American Art, Thought, and Culture (USACH). She is now a PhD candidate in Arts and Humanities at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.

Those returning to CMUS are Sebastián Muñoz, a sociologist from the Universidad de Chile with a PhD in Social Anthropology from the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (Argentina), who since last year has been pursuing a Master's in Social Network Analysis at the University of Manchester (United Kingdom); Javier Rodríguez, who holds a PhD in Musicology from the Sorbonne University (2020) and works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. Finally, Javier Silva-Zurita, who holds a Master in Music Studies from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music–The University of Melbourne, and a PhD in Ethnomusicology from the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music–Monash University, and is currently a faculty member in the Department of Humanities and Arts at the Universidad de Los Lagos.
